Crimapp.com is a blog focusing on criminal law issues facing the average Michigan appellate practitioner. It is run by Attorney Stuart G. Friedman, a Michigan appellate practitioner.
Ethics attorneys would probably suggest that I include a disclaimer that the opinions offered on this website do not constitute “legal advice” or the creation of a “legal relationship.” To a certain extent, they are correct. To a great extent they are simply paranoid.
The ramblings and opinions expressed on this blog are certainly that; they are opinions about law. They are intended to make people think and consider things that they normally would not. The opinions, however, are just that — my opinions. Just because I criticize a Court’s ruling doesn’t mean that I don’t recognize that it is binding.
This blog is designed for persons with legal training. While I recognize that other individuals will read this blog, consider it the beginning, not the end of your research. I am a professional researcher, but I would never treat myself based on what I learned of webmd.com. Similarly, don’t treat this as a definitive legal answer to your questions.
